Invitation to an embassy

You're invited to a special event at the Embassy of Haiti in Washington D.C.

On April 25, 2009, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., please come and join the Just Haiti board of directors for a wine and cheese reception at the embassy, located at 2311 Massachusetts Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. 20008. (map)

At the embassy event:

• Contributions will be accepted to complete the Just Haiti revolving loan fund to benefit the coffee growers' association in Baradères, Haiti. [September 2009 update on status of loan]
   
• Details about the loan will be provided.  
   
• Sample coffee and financial information about the project will be available.
   
• Father Pascal Pierre from Haiti will be present to answer questions about progress in the Baradères coffee growers' association.
