  •  All Kafe Lespwa currently is hand-processed using the traditional dry processing method.*

  • Ten bags is the largest size single order we can process directly: please contact us to purchase larger quantities.

*Processing method?
The farmers processed all of our current supply of coffee by the traditional dry method. For a previous shipment, some of them used a wet method. But they found the wet method far too time and labor intensive to use without depulping machines. In summer 2009, drawing upon the revolving loan fund established by donations from our supporters, the growers purchased their first two depulping machines and constructed the first two of four planned sites for wet-processing the coffee harvest.

What's the difference between the two processing methods, and why did some farmers use the wet method?
